The Design Process

Initial Project Specification:

Everyone benefits if the scope of the project is clearly defined at the start. I will sit down with you and define exactly what you want your project to achieve.
This specification will detail what is part of the project, what isn't and what features maybe included at a later date. By sticking to the specification, deadlines are maintained and budgets don't explode.
The initial specification may simply be what you consider to be a minimum working set of features, ready to be built on and extended, or maybe you want to build a 'complete-at-launch' project, with nothing further needing to be done.

Realistic Goals:

The overall timeframe for the project and the desired features need to be achieveable. No one wins if you set out to fail. But by outlining what is going to be included, and when, success is more likely to happen.

Sign Off On Milestones:

Once sub-goals are attained and tested, the client signs off and that part of the project is considered complete. Breaking the project down into milestones helps keep the design team focused, the client up to date and the project manageable.

Project Completion:

All goals have been signed off and the project functions as specified in the initial brief. At this point the client signs off on the project as a whole. Congratulations! Your project is complete.
