DigiCat was born out of watching the lengths some sales reps had to go to keeping a current product portfolio on the road.
Pages of product images and info, multiple A4 folders, and the costs of printing and distributing changes can make something as simple as changing your prices daunting.

The DigiCat iPad lets you connect to your website's database and upload your product information onto the iPad app for easy display. You have current, accurate product information instantly and a product catalog that fits in your briefcase and your clients get to browse through your range using a fun, modern technology (trust me, people like using it and they stay focused for longer).

DigiCat, the iPad app, was designed to allow you to ditch the folders, price lists and the costs associated with keeping these materials up to date.

An easy to use interface

The beauty of the iPad is the ease of use. The DigiCat app uses a simple tabular layout to display the products from each category.

Each thumbnail is a perfect size for quick viewing and displays the product code above it.

Any number of products can be shown per category and the scrolling action makes moving through the range easy.

Once a particular product is selected a larger image is displayed and the product information you have selected to load into the app shows in the information area above.

Products can be moved through in a linear style by using the back and next buttons.

Products that are of interest can be bookmarked and returned to easily for a proper inspection.

Easy switching between categories

Use the Categories menu at any time to switch between the available product categories.

The categories are displayed in an easily navigable vertical menu that can easily hold as many product categories as you need.

Zoom functionality

The iPad's easy to use pinch and expand gestures allow each product image to be zoomed in to a high degree, allowing greater detail to be shown.

The only limit is the size and quality of the original image.

Keeping the DigiCat iPad app up to date is as simple as clicking one button.

Initial set up of the app itself requires nothing more than the URL of your website and the location of the product images.

Set these once and then forget about them. Everything is permanently saved to make your job easier.
